The Mobile HVAC Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure that the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained and operating efficiently. This role includes surveying, troubleshooting, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC within the facility. The Mobile HVAC Technician will work closely with account manager and project manager to ensure projects and surveys are completed in a timely manner and meet all quality standards. Job requires regular travel within the region and some airline travel. Travel 100%

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Preventive Maintenance:

\n

\n
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
\n
• Inspect and maintain HVAC to ensure optimal operation.
\n

\n

Repair and Troubleshooting:

\n

\n
• Diagnose and repair systems
\n
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
\n
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
\n

\n

Site Surveys:

\n

\n
• Visit client sites using smart phone app take pictures and document existing facility’s equipment and conditions.
\n
• Take detailed notes and document client needs to help solution and cost jobs.
\n

\n

Equipment Maintenance:

\n

\n
• Maintain and repair equipment HVAC units.
\n
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored securely.
\n
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
\n

Safety and Compliance:

\n

\n
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
\n
• Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Maintenance Supervisor.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding building and equipment maintenance.
\n

\n

Administrative:

\n

\n
• Complete required training as assigned.
\n
• Complete expense reports.
\n

\n

 

\n

Collaboration:

\n

\n
• Work closely with account manager, project manager, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure quality control.
\n
• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Account manager or Project manager.
\n
• Provide support during facility inspections and audits.
\n

\n

Skills:

\n

\n
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
\n
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\n
• Clean driver’s license.
\n
• Ability to travel regularly.
\n

Certifications:  

\n

\n
• Relevant trade certifications (e.g., HVAC) are a plus.
\n

\n

Physical Requirements:

\n

\n
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
\n
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
\n
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor weather, on ladders, roofs, and confined spaces.
\n
• Extensive driving and some airline travel.
\n
