Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a experienced supervisor with marine decking experience for our client in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading tradesman in the marine decking industry.
Decking Supervisor Pay: $35.08
Decking Supervisor Shift: 5am-1:30pm M-F with OT
Decking Supervisor Responsibilities:
Manages schedule updates and coordinates staffing aligned with the work
Detailed planning of work on Navy and commercial vessels
Manages a team between 15-30 decking installers and painters
Monitors and reports performance metrics to project team
Resourceful and a problem solving required to meet deadlines
Strong organization and ability to set priorities
Must be able to clearly communicate with Project Managers and customers
Computer skills required for email and excel progress tracking
Work Environment:
70/30 Split between office environment and on vessels
Loud, dusty, and exposed to elements
Decking Supervisor Requirements:
Experience with marine decking products and/or painting
Experience in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in decking or painting
Familiarity working on marine vessels is a plus
Requires background check and U.S. Citizenship
