Manufacturing Process Engineer

Hi-Vac Corporation is a leading provider of industrial vacuum systems and equipment, dedicated to delivering cleaner, safer, and more efficient solutions to industries worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team and help drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in alignment with product specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products.
• Plan, design, set up, modify, and monitor manufacturing processes to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Address manufacturing issues to ensure products meet specifications and production timelines.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, and production staff to optimize manufacturing capabilities.
• Research tools, materials, and methodologies to improve production performance.
• Calculate and analyze production costs, time requirements, and resource needs.
• Enhance production control systems, standard operating procedures, safety measures, and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and training to improve team skills, performance, and promotability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
• Experience in the HVAC industry (desired).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and process optimization skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to work across departments and present technical information clearly.
• Solid understanding of production cost analysis, efficiency strategies, and continuous improvement principles.
