Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our team of over 13 Manufacturing Engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with a proven track record in manufacturing engineering management. This role requires a high level of execution and accountability, as well as expertise in process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 13+ Manufacturing Engineers, ensuring daily accountability and high performance.
• Develop and implement processes for manufacturing readiness reviews and engineering change orders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the team on tools and software such as JIRA, Confluence, Siemens NX, and Fibersim.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering Management role.
• Preferred background in aerospace, with consideration for candidates from second-tier aerospace providers.
• Expertise in composite materials, specifically carbon fiber.
• Proven experience in process improvement and continuous improvement/Lean Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools and software including JIRA, Confluence, Siemens NX, and Fibersim.
