Our Fortune 500 customer is looking to add a Mainframe Developer to support the Tax team. We are looking for someone local to Cincinnati, OH, willing to on-site 3x per week and has skills in JCL, Cobol and Mainframe .

Job Description:

Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Candidates must be local to Cincinnati, Ohio

Skills Required:

• Strong Mainframe skills COBOL , JCL, standard IBM utilities
• Experience with IBM Mainframe technologies (TSO/Roscoe, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, SAS,Debug)
• Experience with IDz
• Has created and executed test scripts
• Experience documenting and gathering requirements
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills

Description:

Evaluate, design and implement technology solutions to build and progress Mainframe COBOL technology solutions within the Tax area.

Assignments will vary depending on application needs, but will mostly focus around the support of the commercial billing application. The candidates will need to handle multiple assignments at once with various deadlines. Candidates should expect a dynamic environment where adhoc requests will require resources to adjust and be flexible with their assignments. Candidates are expected to be motivated and avid learners who have a strong desire to drive operational excellence.
