The responsibilities of a Sugarista include the following:

• Providing education-oriented skin services, as we believe in educating our clients about proper skin care during sugaring sessions.
• Performing full body sugaring services for both men and women.
• Conducting skin consultations and brow consultations prior to sugaring and tinting.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation and assisting with sanitation throughout the studio.
• Learning and selling memberships and products.
• Attending monthly employee education and development meetings.
• Developing harmonious relationships with co-workers and clients.
• Learning and becoming proficient in Square, our appointment booking and processing system.
• Performing additional tasks such as maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and sugaring rooms, restocking products and disposables, and more.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Availability to work at least one weekend day

• An eye for detail + a positive attitude!

• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times

• Your personality should be warm and classy, and mesh well with our team. We

  love what we do and want to work with people we love.

• You should have the ability to make people smile and laugh.

• You should have a desire to help others feel good about themselves.

Requirements:

• You must have a valid Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the state of California. - High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable means of transportation
• You should have a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination are necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in sugaring hair removal is a plus!
• Must pass a background check.
• Sugaring experience is a plus but not required. We will provide training on all sugaring services.
