We play an essential role in establishing practices for building technology solutions across the company, while also delivering capabilities that exemplify those practices. What You’ll Do: Leverage data to build and deliver automated advice for teams on possible improvements Prototype potential solutions to critical business problems impacting the wider enterprise Stabilize and scale existing solutions to support the entire business Build new systems to streamline and enable business processes ranging from business continuity verification to chaos engineering Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply) At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service 3+ years of experience with large databases and data analytics 1+ years of experience with queue based architectures 1+ years of experience with production support & operations Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts such as SLOs At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).
