The Madison office of SmithGroup is looking for a Landscape Architecture Intern to join our team.

Working with us, you will:

• Work on integrated design teams with architecture, engineering, planning and surveying.
• Participate in the preparation of concepts, design development, and graphic illustrations.
• Edit technical specifications.
• Review shop drawings.
• Participate in design meetings.
• Compile data and prepare design solutions.
• Receive mentorship from experienced design professionals.
• Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites.

An ideal candidate has:

• Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited landscape architecture program by the time of the internship.
• Some experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite.
