Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement test methods for evaluating medical device packaging materials, components, and systems.
• Author laboratory reports.
• Ensure the efficient upkeep of the laboratory.
• Support lab administrative duties (Purchase Orders, Chemical Inventory, Safety Audits).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• 1-3 years of packaging laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with package testing in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Skills & Certifications

• Basic understanding of good laboratory practices.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Ability to comprehend and use computer-controlled lab equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, packaging specifications, and test requirements.
• Strong research skills to expand knowledge from external sources.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor\'s degree in Science/Engineering (Packaging Engineering or Technology preferred).
• Ability to lift containers up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Dexterity to use precision measuring instruments and conduct manual tests.
