Job Description

Position Overview: As a Junior Java Developer with Angular experience, you will be a valuable member of our maintenance team, supporting two critical applications built on REST Grails API and Angular UI. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with maintaining the existing codebase, troubleshooting issues, implementing new features under supervision, and ensuring the applications run smoothly. You will work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and product managers to gain experience and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and enhancements of applications using Groovy on Grails for the backend and Angular for the frontend.
• Help troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Implement new features based on user requirements and business needs under supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to learn and ensure code quality and best practices.
• Contribute to writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Java, Angular, and related frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor???s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of Java development and familiarity with Groovy on Grails.
• Some experience with the Angular framework (Angular 2+), either through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
