Job Type Internship Description URM Stores, Inc. is looking for an Industrial/Process Engineer Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the warehousing/distribution field while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in process improvement and a desire to learn about various warehousing practices, including slotting, and picking processes. This internship will be a 3 to 6-month program that could lead to a permanent position, but this is not guaranteed. Purpose: Our Summer Internship Program offers college students hands-on experience in a dynamic warehousing/distribution environment. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals across various departments, contributing to meaningful projects that impact our operations and sustainability efforts. Pay & Schedule: This is a paid internship ( $16.66/hour ) and perfect for a current student studying Industrial Engineering, or Process Engineering, or related field. We can be flexible around your school schedule if you can be available anytime between the following window: Monday-Friday 5:30 am - 4:30 pm. This a 100% on-site position. Desired skills & Experience: AutoCAD helpful• Spreadsheet• Data entry. Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior preferred). Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Passion for continuous improvement and innovation. What you will be doing (as needed/required): Project management. Data analysis. Data entry. AutoCAD manipulation/Drawing. What you will learn: Real-world experience with one of the largest growing distribution companies. Mentorship from industry professionals.
