Summary of the role:
Y'all, we're on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Freight Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be a key player in driving our sales and expanding our freight services business across the Milwaukee, US.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and translating them into sales opportunities.
* Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers, ensuring profitable and competitive pricing.
* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential business opportunities.
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of services.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in freight sales, with a strong understanding of the freight and logistics industry.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve sales targets.
* Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the freight industry.
