Job Description

At EFG (ESL FACEIT Group) we create worlds beyond gameplay where players and fans become community. We pride ourselves in having a corporate social responsibility which is that "IT'S NOT GG, UNTIL IT'S GG FOR ALL" . We are passionate about the culture we foster that ultimately helps to create and shape the world of esports, gaming tournaments, leagues, events and holistic ecosystems staged for our millions of players, fans and heroes.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Esports Event Organizer to support the execution of competitive gaming events within our Event Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fast-paced, detail-heavy projects. You'll play a critical role in producing large-scale eSports events—including, but not limited to, publisher eSports competitions, marketing events, and owned and operated festivals—while working closely with broadcast, production, project management, and player relations teams.

This position requires strong task management, excellent team collaboration, and a flexible schedule to accommodate travel and non-standard working hours, including nights and weekends, often aligned with global competition and planning schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end logistics: venue coordination, team/player/staff accommodations, staffing, food and beverage, security, ticketing, print, and room sets.
  • Develop and maintain tracking documents, schedules, checklists, and contingency plans.
  • Managing communication and logistics with vendors—sometimes across international time zones.
  • Support setup and on-site production at live events ensuring the proper support functions are in place.
  • Managing an onsite program budget as it relates to your areas of responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in live event planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in task management, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfort working cross-functionally in high-pressure environments.
  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently and work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on tournament schedules.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana or Monday.com)
  • Comfortable working in high-stakes, live broadcast/event environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with esports titles and platforms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube, Discord) and an understanding of publisher ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting or managing eSports events.

Firmly rooted in our values, EFG is an affirmative action employer that celebrates being an equal opportunity workplace. Our unwavering commitment to fair employment extends to all individuals, regardless of their race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, citizenship, marital status, gender identity, or Veteran status.
