Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Engineer at AMC Engineering, PLLC located in Astoria, Queens, NY. We’re seeking a highly motivated professional with entrepreneurial drive to grow with us!

Responsibilities

• Environmental and Engineering report writing
• Preparation of CAD drawings
• Routine dealings with various governmental agencies and clients
• Preparation of permit applications
• Field work for water/soil sampling and more
• Understanding local, state, and federal remedial programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• 1-5 years’ experience in Environmental Engineering
• Willingness to work both in the field at job sites and in an office setting
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize and get things done
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAD drafting software
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental policies
