Description

Position Overview:
Communiboost We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of event planning and execution, providing you with valuable experience in the fast-paced world of event management. As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will assist in the coordination and execution of various events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and promotional events.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.25 hourly
Location: Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistics and coordination.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other third parties to ensure seamless event operations.
Help create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Set up event spaces and ensure all technical needs are fulfilled prior to the event.
Provide on-site support during events, attending to any issues that may arise promptly.
Assist in marketing and promoting events through social media and other channels.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of event planning software and tools is a plus.
