Are you ready to take on complex technical challenges and grow your career toward software architecture or engineering leadership? Our client , a global pioneer in industrial automation and digital transformation, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their high-impact team.

🌟 What You’ll Do:

As part of a world-class embedded software team, you’ll:

• Design and develop safety- and security-critical embedded software for next-gen Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Work across a mix of platforms: custom SoCs, embedded RTOS, bare metal, and Linux.
• Use cutting-edge DevOps tools to drive continuous integration and agile development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product owners, testers, and other engineering teams.
• Lead feature/subsystem design and mentor junior engineers.
• Promote best practices in automated testing and embedded software quality.

🧠 What You Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong C++ skills with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming
• Embedded systems experience, especially in real-time environments
• Ability to technically guide a small engineering team

💡 Bonus Skills:

• Experience with safety/security standards like IEC 61508 or IEC 62443
• Python for automation/test tools
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (CIP), Ethernet/USB/PCIe
• Device driver development
• Familiarity with ARM/Intel architectures and embedded hypervisors

🎓 Required:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering , or equivalent technical field
