Job Description
Coordinates the handling of all special acknowledgements for Honor/Memorial Gifts and Special Thank You notes. This includes letters for gifts given in memory of deceased persons or in honor of individuals. Prepares acknowledgements for the donor(s) of the gift(s) and writes to the family or honorees to inform them a gift has been given in memory of their loved ones or in their honor. Creates all monthly acknowledgement letters for the organization as well as creates new letters (quarterly) for tribute gifts.
Completes all correspondence thank-you notes that are considered non-standard. Assists Senior Director, Direct Marketing with invoicing, check requests and cost analysis.
Requirements
1. An associate degree in a business-related field or completion of college courses in a business-related field is required. 2 years of administrative or development experience and high school diploma or GED can be substituted for Associate degree.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ secretarial, general office or mail operations experience is required.
3. Call Center experience is preferred.
4. Proficient competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required including mail merge.
5. A minimum of 45 wpm typing speed is required.
6. Ability to write and use correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation is required.
7. Must be proficient with 10-key by touch.
8. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
9. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
