The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is committed to delivering a world-class service experience during every customer interaction. CSRs are part of the Call Center Operation and have targeted service goals to drive excellence for our customer experience. You will be responsible for servicing our Property and Casualty (P&C) existing customers, which includes answering insurance billing and coverage questions, completing policy change requests, and handling related inquiries.
Additionally, CSRs help enhance our P&C business retention results and identify ways to help customers maximize their savings/coverage by actively seeking policy bundling opportunities. Once an opportunity is identified, CSRs will transfer the call internally to fellow Sales Agents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take inbound customer service calls from our P&C insurance business and handle policy inquiries and/or change requests, delivering world-class service at every interaction.
- Answer customer inquiries on coverage changes, limits, and deductibles; educate customers on coverage exclusions and exposures, and review customer policies, update customer policy records, audit and maintain electronic files.
- Support our customers by informing, educating, and delivering an effortless and personalized experience.
- Service requests in a timely fashion with the highest quality, including accuracy and completeness.
- Proactively identify and act on additional protection opportunities to promote policy growth and improve customer retention - warm transfer the call to Sales.
- Ensure first contact call resolution and achieve the highest customer satisfaction on all interactions; and as necessary, follow up with customers with outbound follow-up calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and establish a positive rapport with every customer.
Required Education and Experience:
- Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance sales experience REQUIRED: 2 years preferred, 1 year minimum.
- Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License or Personal Lines Insurance License (Required).
- College degree preferred, but not required. We appreciate solid work experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) or multilingual (Plus).
- Minimum 1 year P&C insurance customer service experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to changes in business requirements (i.e., shift and weekend work schedules).
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products and agency management systems.

Compensation:
- Hourly: $20-$23 based on skills and experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Remote: 11:00 AM-8:00 PM CST
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
We are committed to leveraging technology to enable home-based work in combination with our traditional call centers. Qualified candidates will need a dedicated workspace and must meet internet access standards for consideration.
