We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a critical role in supporting our dental and orthodontic offices by verifying provider credentials, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring all facilities and staff are up to date with licensure and insurance enrollment. This is a position ideal for a sharp, organized individual who thrives on accuracy and timeliness.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • On-site at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for provider credentialing and licensing
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of provider licenses, certifications, insurance enrollments, and other credentials
  • Process credentialing and recredentialing applications for insurance carriers
  • Track application statuses and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Communicate with providers, payers, and operations teams to resolve credentialing issues and provide updates
  • Monitor license and credential expiration dates and notify staff of upcoming renewal deadlines
  • Conduct research on updated state and federal regulations and apply changes to internal processes
  • Assist in developing and improving internal credentialing workflows and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies
  • Respond to information requests from government agencies and other stakeholders as required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn credentialing systems
  • Knowledge of credentialing policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations is a plus
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior administrative or dental office experience is a plus, but not required
