JOB SUMMARY:

The Corporate & Community - Fundraiser LI is responsible for developing relationships with prospective businesses and community advocates capable of giving or raising funds as defined by management. The role involves managing an active portfolio of 100-120 prospects, maintaining awareness of organizations and prospects at various stages of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Fundable programs include institutes, centers, endowments, programs, chairs, fellowships, and capital needs. This position works closely with the supervisor to solicit corporate and individual sponsors/donors, guide third-party fundraising events, and coordinate cause marketing campaigns. It also involves expanding Children's Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH) partnerships and implementing community outreach strategies, including stewardship activities related to fundraising. The role acts as a liaison to affinity groups, physicians, hospital administrators, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the development program's goals and objectives. The incumbent is expected to meet or exceed departmental performance standards and undertake special projects as assigned by the SVP/Executive Director or supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree 2 years of experience in a fundraising setting CA Driver's License Proof of Auto Insurance Experience with corporate/community solicitation and/or development Detail-oriented and a team player Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, demonstrate strategic thinking, good decision-making, and entrepreneurial spirit Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed Strong articulation, poise, and writing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of experience Ability to make frequent trips by personal vehicle between hospital buildings and donors Knowledge of Blackbaud non-profit applications The expected hiring range for this position is $29.48 to $40.55.
