Civil Project Manager

Travel Required

My client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a nationally recognized, award-winning civil construction company. This role is focused on leading multiple civil-sector projects while ensuring safety, quality, profitability, and exceptional client service.

  • Compensation $100k-140k+

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all phases of multiple concurrent projects, from estimating and bidding through execution and close-out.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, field operations, and equipment teams to effectively plan and allocate resources.
  • Prepare and review estimates, take-offs, and subcontractor/material pricing.
  • Represent the company at pre-bid and project meetings with professionalism and integrity.
  • Provide servant leadership to field staff, subcontractors, and clients while fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Oversee project cost controls, schedules, safety compliance, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Travel regularly to project sites, client meetings, and regional offices as needed. (once a month or so)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of heavy civil or site work project management experience (roadway, DOT, highway, excavation, utilities, concrete structures, design-build).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • Strong estimating skills and proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid (preferred).
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who can manage details while driving big-picture results.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
