We are seeking a seasoned RESIDENT ENGINEER (NJDOT) in the Construction industry. This is a permanent role where you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of construction projects, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with NJDOT's standards, specifications, and regulations. Responsibilities:

As a RESIDENT ENGINEER (NJDOT), you will play a crucial role in our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Ensuring all construction activities are in compliance with NJDOT's standards, specifications, and regulations.
3. Coordinating with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government officials.
4. Reviewing and approving contractor's submittals, including shop drawings, product data, samples, and design changes.
5. Conducting regular on-site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
6. Resolving technical issues and challenges on site, providing expert advice and solutions.
7. Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets.
8. Coordinating with NJDOT's departments to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction engineering, with a focus on transportation projects.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New Jersey.
4. In-depth knowledge of NJDOT's standards, specifications, and regulations.
5. Proven experience in managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
6. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in construction software and tools.
7. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with various project stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues and challenges on site.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
