COMMUNITY BASED THERAPIST: HIRING BONUS

*Description:*

With the goals of increased mental health access and improved outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system, the Community Based Therapist, will work collaboratively with referred families and youth along with identified partners to establish and support treatment plan goals that strengthen and support families within their own environment/community.

Essential Job Functions:

-Provide weekly home and community based treatment sessions

-Offer individual, family, and group service modalities

-Case documentation to include written summaries, assessments, treatment and safety planning

-identify needs and gaps in supports, working with community partners to address these areas

-opportunities to assist with developing and providing trainings internally as well as within the community

*Requirements*:

Master degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family therapy with limited permit and 2+ years of experience in child welfare, mental health and/or family services theory preferred. Demonstrated ability to facilitate or function as part of an effective multi-disciplinary team. Must have a valid NYS Driver License, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be culturally competent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
