POSITION SUMMARY: The College Relations Recruiter is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleges, universities, and student organizations to identify and attract top talent for Dominium. This role focuses on creating and implementing strategies to build a diverse and qualified candidate pool, promoting the company’s employer brand, and managing campus recruitment programs. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers, academic institutions, and career services to source and evaluate potential candidates for internships, full-time roles, and other entry-level positions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Partners with Department heads to determine internship needs, map out the hiring strategy, coordinate interviews and manage hiring and new hire orientation of newly hired Interns and entry-level candidates company-wide.
  2. Posts and maintains jobs on campus and company databases including UKG, Handshake and individual university career boards.
  3. Develops strong relationships with key university contacts including career services, faculty, student organizations and diversity associates to promote Dominium’s values. Schedules and participates in presentations, career fairs, information sessions, office and on-campus interviews, career services events/receptions/dinners, etc.
  4. Responsible for candidate sourcing, resume screening, phone screening, interviewing, coordinating assessments, extending offers, and supports internship housing and travel coordination.
  5. Partners with TA Coordinator on backend processes - criminal background checks and assessments for all pre-employment candidates.
  6. Partners with Marketing to create/update/order career fair materials (banners, flyers, swag, etc.) as needed.
  7. Completes reporting for recruiting metrics such as ROI per university partnership, conversion numbers (interviews to hires, interns to full time, etc.), number of applicants per hire, time to fill, and various other metrics.
  8. Answer questions from candidates, employees and hiring managers regarding campus recruiting, candidate onboarding and other Human Resources policies and procedures.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in HR or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Plus at least 1 year of recruiting experience required, campus recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • MS Office required, Applicant Tracking System experience preferred; and familiarity with social media platforms and job boards used for recruitment purposes.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills; the ability to speak in front of small and large groups of people for company presentations and career fairs; and the ability to build and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Must be able to think independently and work with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment events and projects.
  • Passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
