Job Description - Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on 2, 3, 4 and multi-axis MAZAK and OKUMA machines. Collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturability and reduce cycle times.
- Developing tooling, fixtures, and machining programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Leading and participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring adherence to AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards.
- Troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Supporting the introduction of new aerospace products through process development.
- Mentoring and training production staff on best practices.
- Maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation.

The Successful Applicant - 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally within the aerospace sector.
- Solid understanding of CNC machining, GD&T, and precision manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
- Experience applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
