The Foresights & Predictive Analytics Team blends AI-powered predictive analytics with deep cultural and marketplace understanding to identify future growth opportunities and inspire activation across the enterprise. Main Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced, curious, and outcome-oriented Associate Manager with demonstrated insight and storytelling experience to: Champion our internal food trend prediction capability (FutureCast) by harnessing its predictive analytics and data visualizations to create succinct and compelling stories that range from granular and specific to broad and strategic Infuse foresight orientation and external perspective into inspiring business direction by combining compelling visual storytelling, business perspective, insight development, and data literacy Drive impact across the enterprise with trends and macro force content that informs business partners from brand teams to the Board of Directors Keep a pulse on societal and cultural trend scanning and connecting it to General Mills impact Expand team’s reach by closely partnering with internal and external support partners This role will draw on proven strength in capabilities such as anticipating the future, business acumen, developing actionable insights, and influential communication. Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated and compelling visual storytelling capabilities Proven track record of distilling complex information into concepts that are easy to understand and apply Expertise incorporating and synthesizing multiple data points, including behavioral, attitudinal and cultural data Proficiency connecting the dots between external trends and forces and existing internal initiatives Strong experience (3-5 years) in consumer insights, analytics, or trend analysis Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate dynamic project scopes Experience applying appropriate effort – finding the right balance between fast and simple and rigor Preferred Qualifications Ability to see beyond the task at hand and think long-term, capturing the big and little picture Whole brained thinker who combines modern capability expertise with empathy, both for consumers and business partners Desire to lean into new approaches that solve business problems Comfort with new data sources including vendor partner dashboards and internal resources Organization Integration: Ability and desire to build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners Proactively identifies business and team needs and solutions Company Overview We exist to make food the world loves. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 – $150300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee’s pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
