About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer to oversee all aspects of its operations. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, engaging, and "hands-on" leader with a proven track record in a similar high-performing private club environment. Responsibilities include managing the club's resources, leading the management team, and curating premier member experiences. The GM/COO will be expected to be a visible and approachable presence, embodying a culture of continuous evolution to excellence, and fostering a positive and member-centric service culture. Strong skills in team building, mentoring, and holding senior staff accountable are essential, as is the ability to adapt, innovate, and create a strategic vision that aligns with the club's mission and values. Candidates for the GM/COO position should have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, or be "Rising Stars" in the industry with a successful track record. A genuine, likable personality with a focus on honesty, humility, and integrity is a key leadership requirement. The role demands a true hospitality professional with a passion for member and staff interaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage, financial acuity, and excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred, or substantial experience in the private club or hospitality sector will be considered. The GM/COO will be responsible for large-scale capital projects, so experience in this area is also important. The position requires the ability to work closely with the Board, management team, and external partners, and to create synergy within the club and the community at large.
