Our client is a vertically integrated operation suppling beef and bison products to wholesalers and retailers across the continental United States. The company is located in Idaho Falls and will require travel to Idaho Falls approximately one week every month.
As Chief Marketing Officer, you will become the driving force behind the company’s brand identity and presence in their market. You'll lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives that influence brand preference and oversee both brand and performance marketing efforts to achieve customer acquisition and retention in competitive markets.
You will report to the company’s CEO and will be an integral part of the company’s leadership team. This is a high visibility role in a growing organization that will have a direct impact on the success of the overall business. It is a unique opportunity to develop and lead a marketing program that will take an already successful company to the next level of sustained growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop a compelling, long-term brand strategy that positions the organization as a market leader and trusted partner. Clearly communicate the brand’s vision, mission, and values across all channels and internal teams.
Lead the development and ongoing refinement of comprehensive brand guidelines. Work collaboratively across departments to maintain consistent brand expression and foster strong internal brand alignment.
Continuously analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to evolve the brand. Champion innovation by identifying growth opportunities and integrating creative, forward-thinking solutions into the brand strategy.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess brand health, awareness, and engagement. Use real-time analytics to adapt strategies and ensure continued brand relevance.
Direct creative services to produce innovative, brand-aligned visual and messaging assets. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
Oversee media buying across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring campaigns are optimized for reach, efficiency, and impact.
Collect and analyze insights from all distribution channels and use this intelligence to refine brand strategy and ensure responsiveness to market dynamics.
Develop tailored strategies that reflect local market conditions and drive competitive differentiation. Align regional efforts with the overarching brand strategy to accelerate market share growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse marketing team. Implement effective talent strategies to foster ongoing professional growth and team excellence.
Define clear goals and metrics. Hold team members accountable for delivering against strategic and operational objectives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by challenging norms, championing thought leadership, and facilitating cross-functional learning to enhance marketing outcomes.
