About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) & Vice President to play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission through its most valuable asset - its people. The successful candidate will be a visionary executive with a proven track record in human resources, particularly in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, and cultural change. This role is not just about managing HR functions; it's about being a key partner with the executive team in shaping a holistic, inclusive, and community-oriented culture. The CHRO will be responsible for all aspects of human capital, from workforce planning to employee engagement, and must have a strong background in labor relations, including experience with collective bargaining agreements. Candidates for the CHRO position at the company should be prepared to lead a dedicated team of HR professionals and work closely with institutional constituents to provide innovative, high-quality services. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of HR best practices, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and the ability to foster a workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered. Essential duties include developing and implementing HR policies that align with the organization's mission, maintaining a constructive relationship with union leadership, and ensuring that the HR infrastructure is responsive to the needs of the institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, at least 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
