Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

We are looking for warehouse associates to assist with basic warehouse duties. Depending on your schedule, you will either perform Batch Picking or Mark Order tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse picks for both batch and transfer orders.
• Provide data entry for all received items into the Purchase Order software systems.
• Communicate all problematic deliveries to the vendor, shipper, or appropriate buyer.
• Notify the appropriate buyer and/or vendor of all received product compliance failures.
• Perform all cycle counts per the departmental schedule.
• Monitor and remove expired items, notifying appropriate personnel for replacements.
• Maintain and generate all month-end expired item reports for warehouse items.

Essential Skills

• Experience with pallet jacks and material handling.
• Forklift certification, including reach and sit-down forklifts.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have safety shoes.
• Experience with cherry pickers or stand-up reach forklifts (not afraid of heights).

Work Environment

This is a large kit building and sample processing operation. You will travel throughout the facility, including the lab, where lab coats and eye protection are required. Shift is 6AM - 6PM (2/2/3 rotating weekends).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
