Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Charter/Spectrum Program Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic partnerships with cable/internet providers and FirstService Residential for the New York City Market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering value add to the communities FirstService Residential managers.
  • Creating a uniform experience across the market within the guidelines of the individual cable provider’s program.
  • Increasing the engagement of properties eligible for any of our partner cable programs.
  • Overseeing the cable agreement expiration exposure dates based on information in our management systems and vendor reports.
  • Provide cost savings analysis to clients.
  • Collaborate and act as Liaison between clients and cable providers to understand the needs of the customer and to add value to the client.
  • Follow up with properties and clients on implementation of programs or related requests.
  • Liaison between property management teams and partner cable provider with service issues and on-site issue resolution.
  • Develop and conduct awareness of program and changes through webinars or in person.
  • Conduct audits on current programs & services and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Working in partnership with our National Cable Programs Team in Dania Beach FL
  • Tracking the progress of the program’s performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) using the tools set up by the national team.
  • Act as the subject matter expert working collaboratively with area management teams, business development managers, board of directors, management teams at the respective cable providers, and national cable programs team at Dania Beach headquarters.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years’ experience in cable provider space.
  • Must have superior verbal and written communications skills and proven customer service exposure.
  • Need to have a high energy type of attitude to deal with the day-to-day tasks and able to multi-task under pressure and stressful situations.
  • Must be extremely organized, consistent, and flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills and attributes.
  • Demonstrated experience in large, complex accounts with multiple clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent decision making and analytical skills to effectively tackle issues or challenges that may occur daily.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and display efficiency.
