About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a plan to engage with students and families, including organizing campus tours and information events. This role involves maintaining regular communication with high school students, applicants, and educational partners to establish and nurture relationships. The Career Coach will also work closely with high school CTE departments and Career Development Coordinators to create opportunities for career awareness and exploration. Essential duties include administering career assessments, providing career advising, and assisting students with the enrollment process in compliance with educational regulations. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related work experience within the past five years. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and a background in industry-related career development, work-based learning coordination, academic advising, or school counseling. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, bilingual proficiency in Spanish, and experience in a high school setting, particularly with dually enrolled students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of full-time direct work experience in academic advising and/or career counseling, and a strong commitment to professional development and staying current in the field.
