Bookkeeper

Overview of the Bookkeeper role:

• Accounts Payable: data entry, matching and coding in General Ledger, weekly check runs, run weekly report, maintain vendor files
• Accounts Receivable: invoicing, post payments, prepare bank deposits
• Prepare journal entries
• Close books monthly and prepare financial statements
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts

Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper position:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Highly effective communication skills, ability to work independently
