Job Description/Skills: Location: Remote (US only) What You’ll Do Software Development and Delivery Write secure, performant, maintainable code using modern programming languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python Build and maintain reusable solutions and shared libraries to accelerate team productivity Conduct and approve peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to standards Ensure production readiness by implementing appropriate testing strategies including unit, integration, and performance testing Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and enforce automation standards for builds and deployments Support root cause analysis and resolution of production issues System Design and Architecture Participate in and lead design discussions and reviews for new systems and features Influence architecture decisions, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards Apply best practices for performance, observability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning Innovation and Research Explore new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that can drive system and process improvements Lead the adoption of new tools and practices that support faster delivery and better customer outcomes Mentorship and Team Leadership Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members Encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and best practice adoption within the team Foster an inclusive, innovative, and team-oriented culture aligned with our client’s core values What Will Differentiate You Demonstrated ownership of complex technical solutions from concept through delivery Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to evolving problem spaces Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Public technical portfolio or GitHub contributions are a plus Proven experience mentoring and uplifting peers within a collaborative engineering culture Required Skills and Experience 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or cloud environments Strong proficiency in : Backend development using C#, Java, NodeJS, or Python Experience with complex architecture creation RESTful API design and delivery, including AuthN, scaling, documentation, lifecycle management, and publishing via API Management platforms Working knowledge of popular API Management platforms such as Apigee Abstracting and providing solutions that are leveraged across many internal engineering solutions Developing and deploying cloud-native, event-driven, serverless applications with a strong preference for AWS Data management including designing performant data stores and access patterns. Proficient with data warehousing, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL technologies. Hands-on experience with Agile development practices and DevOps principles Pay Range: $68.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
