Job Description

Strategic advisor and Assitant to CEO (title flexible for right canddiate)

Private Equity-Backed Growth Platform

Location: New Jersey (Edison / Parlin)

Compensation: $85K–$115K, Direct access to CEO + exposure to Billion dollar PE team

Are you an early-career analyst in investment banking, private equity, or M&A consulting who’s craving something more entrepreneurial—where your voice matters and exposure is unmatched?

The CEO—an accomplished entrepreneur with multiple successful M&A e—is seeking a high-potential right hand to help manage these initiatives, investor materials, and operational priorities.

“This is the person I want by my side as we scale,” — CEO

Why This Role is Different

• Direct exposure to a private equity firm (deal team)

• Mentorship from a seasoned CEO with real exit experience

• Broad scope—M&A execution, platform scaling, investor-facing work, and deep visibility into PE portfolio operations

• Title flexibility – shape the role around your growth path

What You’ll Do

• Review acquisition opportunities, prepare financial models, and summarize deal metrics

• Create investor-facing materials and internal strategy decks

• Organize and track due diligence efforts and vendor reviews

• Work cross-functionally to push forward mission-critical initiatives

• Shadow the CEO in meetings, take follow-ups, and drive execution

• Support scheduling, communications, and sensitive CEO-level matters—with a strategic lens

You Might Be…

• 1–4 years into a career in investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting

• Curious about startups, and the business of scaling

• A fast executor, clean communicator, and detail-obsessed spreadsheet wrangler

• Hungry for mentorship, exposure, and a career path beyond just “the track”

Ideal for someone who’s done the banking/PE grind and is now ready to help build — not just advise or model.
