1:1 School Nurse (RN) – NYC Public Schools (All Boroughs)Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide 1:1 care for medically fragile students in NYC public schools across all five boroughs. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are confident managing complex health needs and want to make a direct, lasting impact on a child’s ability to attend school safely.Compensation:

Choose your preferred location and type of case
School-day hours (typically 8 AM – 3 PM) – no nights or weekends
Consistent schedule with the same student each day
Deeply meaningful work – help a child access education safely
Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one nursing care for a medically fragile student
Monitor and manage chronic and acute health conditions, including:
• Seizure care
• Diabetes management
• G-tube feeding, suctioning (oral/tracheal), oxygen administration, ventilator support
• Pulse oximetry and medication administration
In some cases, accompany the student on the school bus to and from school
Communicate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with DOE and NYS guidelines
Qualifications:Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 3 years RN experience
Proven competence in relevant nursing skills for medically fragile students
CPR and First Aid certification (required)
Experience with pediatric, school-based, or community nursing strongly preferred
